KANSAS' SECOND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
During the 2006 election cycle, Democrat Nancy Boyda managed to pull off one of the nation's most shocking upsets with the defeat of four-term incumbent Jim Ryun.

At the start of 2007, Ryun declared his 2008 candidacy, followed by Republican State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins shortly after.

The battle with Boyda will be one of the closest watched elections in 2008. Rest assured - Stay Red Kansas will be watching the whole way.
